BigFix Relevance - BESFND401R_20250818_Melbourne Registration Closed

The goal of this instructor led course is to provide a well-rounded understanding of what BigFix RELEVANCE and Action Scripting is, how it works, what are the four tenets of Relevance? How to read Relevance. Understanding what "it" really is. Where is Relevance used? What is Action Scripting? How do I use Action Scripts? There is no cost for this class.

Just to name few things in this two-day class:

• This course will provide you understanding of just what is Relevance and where in BigFix is Relevance used.

• How to create custom content as a Fixlet or a Task using Relevance to define the success criteria.

• How to retrieve properties from the client. How to make use of those retrieved properties in an Analysis.

• How to test your Relevance using the Fixlet Debugger.

There will be many hours of hands on labs so that you can reinforce what you are learning.

Class size will be limited to 20 students.

This class will use Sametime as the presentation layer and Skytap as the hands on portion. You will need internet access via the standard ports: 80/443.

Once you sign up, you will receive the links to access this instructor led course.  Please note that registrations open 45 days prior to class start date.

Access to the Web meeting and labs will come to you from skytap-portal.com. Make sure you check your SPAM folder if you don't see it. The email skytap-portal.com sends out will contain your login credentials to the labs, the lab guide, and the link to the Web meeting. This typically comes out one week prior to the start of the class.
