Description 
This course will introduce you to basics of HCL Domino Security.



Objectives

At the end of the course you will see how Domino security works, from user IDs to server access to database ACLs. You will learn the basics of Domino Security Model. Go through the Naming Hierarchy. Work with Group Administration, Server Access Lists, Database Security and Execution Control Lists.

Exercises in this course will help validate your understanding of the topic.

 

Prerequisites

  • Must have experience using the HCL Notes version 12 client as an end user.  No previous knowledge or experience of Domino administration or programming is required.

  • To follow the exercises in this course, you will need the following:
    •  An environment with the appropriate system requirements for Domino 12 on a Windows OS Platform.
    • HCL Domino 12 Server installed and configured with the Administrator Client
    • HDOM-ADM-103 contains exercises that are built foundationally from exercises/environments in HDOM-ADM-101.  Therefore, HDOM-ADM-101 is recommended.
