Description 

  • This course will take you through the DRAPI, Design Import and VoltFormula features in HCL Volt MX Go.

Objectives

  • At the end of this course you will be able to,
    • Retrieve the below details from Domino REST API (DRAPI)
      • The Domino REST API URL, or DRAPI URL
      • The Domino REST API First Touch Recipe App’s Client ID
      • The Domino REST API First Touch Recipe App’s Client Secret
      • The Domino REST API First Touch Recipe App’s Scope
    • Access and run the First Touch Recipe Catalog app from HCL Volt MX Go.
    • Use the Design Import feature in HCL Volt MX Go to build your own Recipies application.
    • Write code
      • Using VoltFormula in action editor using "Add Formula" action
      • Using VoltFormula in the form controller
    • Rebrand the application generated in Volt MX Go Iris when then Design Import feature is used.
    • Implement the responsiveness in the application generated in Volt MX Go Iris when then Design Import feature is used
    • Extend the capabilities in the generated app by implementing sorting and filtering capabilities in the "View All Recipes" screen.
    • Test the end to end functionality of application using the HCL Volt MX App Preview. 

Prerequisites

  • To complete this course, you must have a Domino environment which includes Domino REST API in addition to HCL Volt MX Go’s Volt Foundry (middleware) and Volt Iris (IDE).
    • Either you can have a onprem installation of Domino and Volt MX Go servers, OR 
    • You can use the HCL Volt MX Go sandbox from HCL SoFy platform (HCL SoFy platform). HCL SoFy sandbox will include Domino, Domino REST API, and Volt MX Go Foundry.
  • It is recommended to go through the below HCL Volt MX courses to understand in depth about working with HCL Volt MX
